Danshui is a charming riverside town located on the Northern end of Taipei and can be easily reached by train. It is about 40 minutes away from Taipei City. In less than 5 minutes walk upon exiting Danshui train station, you will be greeted by the gorgeous view of the river at the waterfront.

Spectacularly tranquil with stunning scenery, this is good place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city to spent some quiet time alone.

Besides the amazing landscape, this little town is homed to many restaurants and cafes. Local delights and street food can also be found.

Located just right behind is the Old Street where the shops are gathered. A good place to do some shopping comfortably as it is not crowded like in Taipei City.

Quite a surprise to see Naraya here. 🙂

After spending a whole afternoon here, i felt so relax. Highly recommend this place as a day trip.
