Those who knows me know that i am crazy over Spanish food.

I could not find a Spanish restaurant here in Singapore to my liking, to satisfy my craving for Spanish food.

Until this evening….. The mystery unfolds!

Hidden in the tranquil Rochester Park is this Spanish restaurant called “UNA”.

UNA is headed by an excellent Chef with great experience and passion for culinary, Executive Chef Antonio Oviedo.

Surrounded by lush green, this elegant restaurant with lovely ambience made its debut in a nostalgic colonial style bungalow, away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. 

The restaurant offers both an outdoor and indoor dining area. The outdoor, as is surrounded by the serene garden, has a romantic feel. An awesome place for first date. The indoor on the other hand is dim and cosy, giving one a super relax feel.

This is a fantastic place for group gathering or for romantic dinner, with awesome menu ranging from appetisers, salads, soups, main courses and desserts to keep your palate satisfied.

Time to spoil ourselves with a hearty Spanish meal. 

Bread Basket (Complimentary)

Light and soft fresh bread to start.

Mojito ($23)

My all time favourite. Sensational and refreshing classic mojito.

Croquetas De Jamón Ibérico ($14)

Creamy Ibérico Ham Croquettes (4 pieces)

Completely blew my mind. Filled generously with Ibérico Ham and fried to golden brown perfection, this irresistibly savoury bite is filled with smooth creamy béchamel mashed potatoes which melt in your mouth. 

Gambas Al Ajillo ($22)

Fresh Tiger Prawns Sautéed in Olive Oil, with Garlic, Chilli and Parsley

Definitely better than what i had in Barcelona. Excellent fresh and tasty tiger prawns. Love the taste of the sauce which is robust and not too overwhelming. Complimented the prawn perfectly. 

Carrillera De Ternera ($32)

Beef Cheek Braised in Red Wine, Served with Creamy Potato and Spanish Pickles

What a tantalizing dish. Paired with crunchy pickles and smooth creamy potato, the braised beef is so soft and flavourful that it melt instantaneously in your mouth. Extremely delicious!

Pluma Ibérica ($38)

Grilled Pluma Ibérico Pork with Padrón Peppers and Creamy Pumpkin

Paired with creamy pumpkin and flavourful padron pepper, this is one of the most succulent and tender pork, grilled to perfection that will leave your mouth watering for more.

To all Spanish food lovers, this restaurant is highly recommended. Impeccable service and top-notch cuisine. 

I will definitely return for my Spanish fix very soon.
