Swiss Rosti Farm

I was introduced to Rosti, a Swiss dish of fried flat cake made of grated potatoes, by one of my best friend who was a Rosti lover.

It had been a long long while since i last had Rosti. Last night, while i was shopping at Punggol Waterway, i saw this little Swiss Rosti Farm and decided to give it a try.

Three Little Pigs & Beef Bad Wolf + Curly Fries with Nacho ($28)

The interesting name of this dish caught my attention.

I ordered this with just a single Rosti to share with my friend as the portion was kind of big.

A double Rosti is available at an additional cost if you opt to add on.

The Rosti, topped generously with Swiss Cheese was served with many toothsome ingredients consist of Bratwurst Pork Sausage, bacon, prosciutto ham and black angus beef covered with provolone cheese.

The curly fries with nacho was an add on.

The bratwurst pork sausage was firm and pleasurable to bite.

The beef, soft and moist, with melted provolone cheese was rich in flavour.

The bacon and prosciutto were tasty and crispy.

The golden crisp curly fries was delicious, especially when dipped in nacho.

Other than the above, the Rosti itself was quite a disappointment. It was slightly burnt and rather greasy.
