La Lola de las Arenas

Strategically located at Placa d’Espanya and well connected to Espanya train station, Arenas de Barcelona is a well-known lifestyle mall situated at the foot of Montjuïc.

The top floor of the Arenas comprises of restaurants and offers an exceptional 360 degree view of the city.

When it comes to dining options at the Arenas, you will be spoiled for choice. There are many different cuisines available, from Local to Japanese specialities to choose from.

One of the restaurant that had made a name is La Lola. This restaurant is one of the most talked about among the locals and tourists.

Whether you are craving for a quick bite or an elegant dinner, La Lola have you covered with their extensive selection of food and drink menu that does not burn a hole in your pocket.

The charming decor of the contemporary interior was impressive and gave the ambience a cosy feel.

Iberian Cured Ham Platter

(Reminds me of Chinese cured meat – Lap Cheong)

A supreme Spanish delicacy.

These freshly hand carved hams had a lovely hue of red wine and were served raw on wooden board.

Top-notch quality and delicately seasoned, the hams had a distinct and unique flavour. Non-greasy in texture with a thin layer of fat, the hams literally melted in my mouth, leaving a pleasant aftertaste.

This gourmet dish is best savoured alongside wine.

Tapas Platter

This genuinely authentic Tapas Platter consists of Sautéed Mushroom, Fried Artichokes, Patatas Bravas, Home-made Meatballs and Mini Chorizo Sausages was enjoyable.

The dishes were all yummy and excellent in their own right. However, the winner of the night was the extremely flavourful and succulent Mini Chorizo.

The friendly staffs were attentive. Service was quick and professional.

I highly recommend this restaurant. If you are in Barcelona, do give it a try. The food were fabulous and value for money. I had a memorable dining experience here.

And oh, they also have an astonishing creation of Cocktails too. Do check it out!
