I do not understand why recently i keep seeing posts and reviews of Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee flying around the social media. Everyone is sharing their favourite.
As such, monkey see monkey do.
Here is my favourite Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee.
Yi Ji Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee is located just a few minutes away from Kovan MRT station, housed in the same coffee shop as the famous Punggol Nasi Lemak. This is a good place for supper as the stall opens daily till 03:00.
This Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee is so yummy and flavourful.
The uniqueness of this Prawn Mee is their home made chilli which is fiery hot. So be extra careful when you mixed it with the noodles. Don’t over mix.
The yellow noodles to rice vermicelli are well balanced in a well soaked, robust Umami broth. The prawns and squid are fresh and weren’t overcooked.
Most of the time, there is always a queue. But it clear pretty fast.
