Had an awesome morning at Bugis Junction and came across this Artisan Bakery.
The beautiful pastries in the display cases caught my attention.
The man behind this bakery is the brainchild of celebrity chef, Dean Brettschneider, a well respected global baker. The bakery, serving hand-crafted products made with finest ingredients, first opened its door in 2012. Soon, it expanded to four outlets within three and a half years. The bakery serves exceptionally good bakery food throughout the day.
I ordered a Smoke Salmon Quiche with Pasta Salad and a Iced Latte.
I like Quiche. In my opinion, this is the best Quiche i have eaten so far. It is not too cheesy, with its softness and crispness all in the right place. The crumbly and ‘just hard enough’ crust, topped with savoury salmon slices, bring out the deliciousness of the Quiche. The sweet capsicum slices sandwiched between the Quiche gave a refreshing crunch with every bite.
The pasta salad, on the other hand was a bit of a disappointment. The pasta tasted too dry and hard. I only had a few small bites and decided to leave it alone.
Iced latte was awesome. The texture was just right for me. Not too creamy and sweet.
The services provided by the young staffs were fantastic. They were friendly and cheerful, smiling at each and every customers. The overall ambience is comfy and cosy. However, the seating capacity is quite limited.
Overall, i am satisfied with their Quiche and will definitely return soon to try out their cakes.
